My Thoughts/Comments from Leviticus 8-11 This Morning

Aaron and his sons were consecrated to the Lord. They then made sacrifices on behalf of the people as directed by the Lord's statutes. After making the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offering, Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them and stepped down. The glory of the Lord appeared to all the people when Moses and Aaron came out of the tent of meeting. Then fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering, this caused the people to shout and fall on their faces before the Lord.

When we come to realize what Jesus did on the cross, should we not shout and fall down and worship of Him? By faith we see that Christ came in human flesh and lived a righteous life, perfect before God. By faith we see the Christ offered Himself up to God as payment in full for our sins. By faith we see that God was pleased with His sacrifice, because he walked out of the grave alive. By faith we see Him seated at the right hand of God the Father. By faith we see that He will return at a time of Fathers choosing to take us home. When we see by faith should we not shout and fall on her faces before the Lord?
